Star-Delta (Y/Δ) reduced-voltage motor starter panels for motors from 5.5 kW to 75 kW at 415V AC, 50Hz. The motor starts in star connection (reducing starting current to approximately one-third of DOL values), then automatically transitions to delta connection for full-speed running after a preset time delay. Each Y/Δ starter compartment includes a 3-pole MCB or MCCB for short-circuit protection, three ABB AF series contactors (main, star, and delta), a star-delta timer relay, a thermal overload relay for overload protection, green start and red stop push buttons, pilot lamps, and a 3-position selector switch (Hand–Off–Remote). Available in configurations from 1 to 4 outgoing starters with MCB or MCCB incomers rated up to 100A. Suitable for centrifugal pumps, compressors, fans, and other applications where reduced starting current is required but the load can tolerate a brief torque dip during the star-to-delta transition.
