The enclosure of ABB’s side controlled enclosed switches are made of rigid silumin. The paint is UV protected, and enclosure is protected against low pressure water jet protection (IP65), designed for outdoor and indoor use.
The cable entries are threaded with entries for 2 parallel cables from both top and bottom. Membrane grommets are included with IP54 protection. Handle is padlockable for one padlock. The cover is interlocked. The switch supports a 4 wire system, featuring fixed neutral and PE terminals that are easily accessible for installation.
