LRD02 – TeSys Deca thermal overload relays
TeSys Deca thermal overload relays are designed to protect a.c. circuits and motors against overloads. This product has a thermal protection adjustment range of 0.16…0.25 A with a thermal overload class of Class 10A according to IEC 60947-4-1 standards. It supports network types DC and AC and operates at a network frequency range of 0…400 Hz.
It can be mounted on plates or rails with specific accessories or under contactors. The tripping threshold is 1.14 +/- 0.06 times the rated current Ir in accordance with IEC 60947-4-1. Auxiliary contact composition consists of 1 NO plus 1 NC contact. The device features a conventional free air thermal current of 5 A for the signalling circuit.
Permissible currents include 3 A at 120 V AC-15 signalling circuit and 0.22 A at 125 V DC-13 signalling circuit. Rated operational voltage is 690 V AC. Associated fuse ratings for signalling circuits are 4 A gG and 4 A BS. The rated impulse withstand voltage is 6 kV. Phase failure sensitivity trips at 130% of Ir on two phases with the last one at zero.
Control type includes red push-button stop and blue push-button reset. Temperature compensation is effective from -20 to 60 °C. Terminal connections support control and power circuit screw clamp terminals with flexible and solid wires ranging from 1 to 10 mm² depending on circuit type. Tightening torque for control and power circuit terminals is 1.7 Nm.
Physical dimensions are height 6.6 cm, width 4.5 cm, and depth 7.0 cm. Net weight is 0.124 kg. The relay withstands climatic conditions IACS E10 and has an IP20 degree of protection per IEC 60529. Operational ambient air temperature ranges from -20 to 60 °C without derating. Storage temperature ranges from -60 to 70 °C.
The product features flame retardance V1 as per UL 94, mechanical robustness against vibrations at 6 Gn (IEC 60068-2-6) and shocks at 15 Gn for 11 ms (IEC 60068-2-7). Dielectric strength is 1.89 kV at 50 Hz according to IEC 60947-1.
