LRD06 – TeSys Deca, thermal overload relay, 1 to 1.6 A, class 10A
TeSys LRD overload relays are designed to be used with TeSys D contactors to make a motor starter. This differential thermal overload relay protects a.c. circuits and motors against overloads by detecting over currents in the lines to the motor and disconnecting power to minimize damage.
Thermal protection adjustment range: 1.0 to 1.6 A calibrated per Class 10A IEC 60947-4-1.
Compatibility: Compatible with LC1D09, LC1D12, LC1D18, LC1D25, LC1D32, LC1D38 contactors.
Electrical ratings and features: Rated insulation voltage Ui up to 600 V CSA and UL, 690 V IEC 60947-4-1. Rated operational voltage Ue 690 V AC 0…400 Hz. Network type DC and AC with frequency up to 400 Hz. Conventional free air thermal current Ith is 5 A for signalling circuit. Auxiliary contact composition is 1 NO + 1 NC. Associated fuse rating for signalling circuit is 4 A gG or 4 A BS. Rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp is 6 kV.
Operation and control: Tripping threshold of 1.14 +/- 0.06 Ir IEC 60947-4-1 with phase failure sensitivity of 130 % Ir tripping current on two phases. Control type includes red push-button stop and blue push-button reset. Temperature compensation from -20 to 60 °C. Connections with screw clamp terminals suitable for flexible or solid cables rated 1 to 10 mm². Tightening torque 1.7 N.m.
