UA26-30-10RA 220-230V 50Hz / 230-240V 60Hz Block Contactor by ABB
The UA26-30-10RA is a 3-pole contactor designed for capacitor switching, suitable for installations where the peak current far exceeds 100 times the nominal rms current. It is delivered complete with damping resistors and must be used without additional inductances. Capacitors must be discharged with a maximum residual voltage at terminals of 50 V before re-energizing when contactors are making.
The contactor has an electrical durability of 250,000 operating cycles for operational voltage below 500 V and 100,000 operating cycles for voltages between 500 and 690 V.
It features a special front-mounted block ensuring the serial insertion of 3 damping resistors to limit the current peak on energization of the capacitor bank, also precharging capacitors to limit secondary current peaks. The design dampens the highest current peaks on switching at any level.
Technical specifications include: 3 main poles, 1 built-in auxiliary contact, AC operated laminated magnet control circuit. The device complies with IEC/EN 60947-1 and IEC/EN 60947-4-1 standards and supports an auxiliary and main circuit rated operational voltage of 690 V.

Mounting is on TH35-15 mm DIN rail or by 2 M4 screws placed diagonally. Terminal connections include flexible cable end from 0.75 to 2.5 mm² and rigid cable from 1 to 4 mm², with IP20 protection for terminals.
Environmental limits are storage temperature -60 to 80 °C, operation temperature up to 70 °C at rated voltage, and maximum operating altitude without derating of 3000 m. It is designed for pollution degree 3 and conforms to multiple certifications.
