Autotransformer reduced-voltage motor starter panels for large motors from 75 kW to 500 kW at 415V AC, 50Hz, designed to meet Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ) and Miyahuna specifications. The autotransformer reduces starting voltage to 65–80% of line voltage (typically 70% tapping), limiting inrush current to approximately 2.5× rated motor current. Each starter compartment includes an adjustable MCCB (50kA rated short-circuit breaking capacity at 1.2× rated capacity, NEMA Class 10), starting, bridging, and running contactors (AC3 category), an autotransformer with 70% tapping, an electronic overload relay, delay-on timer, all required protection and control relays, push buttons, pilot lamps, selector switch, resettable audible and visible alarm system for all faults, and terminal blocks for remote control and running feedback. Panels feature IP54 powder-coated steel enclosures with front-access hinged lockable doors (max 800mm width), non-magnetic base plates, and provision for top or bottom cable entry through gland plates. Suitable for high-power fixed-speed pumping stations, large compressors, and water treatment plant motors where reduced-voltage starting is required without the cost of a VFD.
