LRD08 – TeSys Deca Thermal Overload Relay, 2.5 to 4 A, Class 10A
Description: TeSys LRD overload relays are designed to be used with TeSys D contactors to make a motor starter. They can be used with 9 amp through 38 amp TeSys D contactors. These differential thermal overload relays detect over currents in the lines to the motor and disconnect power when an overcurrent is detected, minimizing damage to motor windings. The adjustable trip current rating is 2.5 to 4 amperes, calibrated per Class 10A.

Main Features: Differential thermal overload relay for motor protection, compatible with models LC1D12, LC1D09, LC1D25, LC1D38, LC1D32, LC1D18. Supports AC and DC network types. Thermal overload class is Class 10A IEC 60947-4-1.
Electrical Ratings: Rated insulation voltage: 600 V CSA and UL power circuits, and 690 V IEC 60947-4-1 power circuit. Rated operational voltage: 690 V AC at 0 to 400 Hz. Associated fuse rating: 4 A gG and 4 A BS for signalling circuit. Rated impulse withstand voltage: 6 kV. Conventional free air thermal current: 5 A for signalling circuit.
Mechanical and Operational Data: Network frequency 0 to 400 Hz. Mounting on plate or rail with accessories, or under contactor. Tripping threshold 1.14 +/- 0.06 Ir IEC 60947-4-1. Auxiliary contacts: 1 NO + 1 NC. Control type includes red push-button stop and blue push-button reset. Phase failure sensitivity trips at 130% of Ir on two phases with one phase at 0. Temperature compensation range is -20 to 60 °C.
