S201-C16 Miniature Circuit Breaker
Description: System pro M compact S200 miniature circuit breakers are current limiting. They have two different tripping mechanisms, the delayed thermal tripping mechanism for overload protection and the electromechanic tripping mechanism for short circuit protection. They are available in different characteristics (B,C,D,K,Z), configurations (1P,1P+N,2P,3P,3P+N,4P), breaking capacities (up to 6 kA at 230/400 V AC) and rated currents (up to 63 A). All MCBs of the product range S200 comply with IEC/EN 60898-1, IEC/EN 60947-2, UL1077 allowing use for residential, commercial and industrial applications. Bottom-fitting auxiliary contact can be mounted on S200 to save 50% space.
Electrical Ratings: Rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity up to 20 kA at 133 V AC, 10 kA at 230 V AC, and 20 kA at 24 V DC. Rated service short-circuit breaking capacity 15 kA at 133 V AC, 7.5 kA at 230 V AC. Rated current is 16 A with rated operational voltage of 230/400 V AC. Tripping characteristic is C type. Rated short-circuit capacity 6 kA (AC), 6 kA (DC). Rated conditional short-circuit current is 10 kA at 230 and 400 V. Frequency is 50/60 Hz. Power loss per pole is 2.5 W.
Mechanical and Environmental: Electrical and mechanical endurance is 20000 cycles. Operating ambient air temperature ranges from -25 to +55 °C. Storage temperature range is from -40 to +70 °C.
