LRD03 – TeSys Deca Thermal Overload Relay
LRD03 is a TeSys LRD thermal overload relay from Schneider Electric used with TeSys D contactors. It provides motor protection for motors rated 0.06-0.09 kW@400V with a thermal range of 0.25-0.4 A, tripping class 10A and phase unbalance protection.
Key features include manual test & reset buttons, automatic reset, trip auxiliary contact and flag indicator. It is designed for direct mounting on the bottom terminals of TeSys contactor LC1D09-D38 forming a compact starter. This relay is light and compact, 4.5 cm wide and temperature compensated for good accuracy of protection.
It supports control with red push-button stop and blue push-button reset. Trip signaling is provided with 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contacts and a trip flag indicator. Available worldwide, it holds multi-standard certifications including IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine.
Technical data: Rated insulation voltage up to 600 V (CSA & UL) and 690 V (IEC 60947-4-1). Rated operational voltage is 690 V AC at 0 to 400 Hz power circuit. Thermal free air current: 5 A; permissible signalling current: 3 A at 120 V AC-15, 0.22 A at 125 V DC-13. Tripping threshold is 1.14 +/- 0.06 Ir with phase failure sensitivity at 130% of Ir on two phases, the last one at 0. Connection terminals accept flexible cables 1 to 10 mm² and solid cables 1 to 6 mm² with screw clamp tightening torque of 1.7 Nm.
Mechanical dimensions: Height 6.6 cm, width 4.5 cm, depth 7 cm. Net weight is 0.124 kg. IP degree is IP20. Climatic withstand rated IACS E10, ambient operating temperature from -20 to 60 °C without derating and storage temperature from -60 to 70 °C. Flame retardance V1 (UL 94), mechanical robustness includes 6 Gn vibrations and 15 Gn shocks for 11 ms. Dielectric strength 1.89 kV at 50 Hz.
