The softstarter PSE72-600-70 has a rated maximum operational current of 72 A with an operating voltage span from 208 to 600 V AC. The rated control voltage is between 100 and 250 V AC at 50/60 Hz. It features two-phase control with soft start and stop through a voltage or a torque ramp. It has built-in bypass for easy installation and energy saving. A RUN, TOR, and Event signal is available from a relay output in Normally Open state.
The PSE provides functions such as current limit from 1.5 to 7 times the rated current, kickstart, analog output, EOL, underload, and locked rotor protection. Interaction with the PSE is via an illuminated display using symbols to be language neutral. An optional external keypad with IP66 rating is available. Communication is available via hardwire Start/Stop inputs, fault reset, built-in Modbus RTU fieldbus communication, or via an external adaptor and fieldbus plug.
It is a general-purpose softstarter, well balanced between high starting capacity and cost efficiency, suitable for small to medium-sized three-phase motors with nominal currents from 18 to 370 A. Typical applications include pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors.
